WHAT IS cosplay?

Cosplay comes from the words 'costume' and 'play' whereby a person prepares a costume, dress up as a character (normally from anime or games) of their choice and 'play' (or in an easier term 'act out') that character. For GACC 2010, the cosplay competition consists of 3 categories; Solo, Duo and Group. Cosplayers will be judged based on how captivating their costumes are, as well as their portrayal of the character.
