WHAT IS Electronic Games

GACC this year will be back with more PS3 goodness with tournaments like Street Fighter 4, Soul Calibur 4, Tekken 6 and Blaz Blue. There will be demos and free play too. Make sure you check it out. Games@GACC will satisfy all your gamer needs. Doujin (fan-made) games will be making a return at GACC with Melty Blood ACT Cadenza and Touhou 12.3 competitions for all you doujin game fans. So sharpen your button mashing and get ready for GACC. Just don’t break our keyboards.

Rules and Regulations
- This competition is open to ALL.
- Participants are required to complete the registration form and submit it during registration.
- Registration for each competition will take place from 10.00 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. on the day of the competition. Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted. Please refer to our website (http://www.whatisgacc.com) for latest updates on the competition schedule.
- Number of entries is limited and will be based on first come, first serve basis.
- Entry fee of RM5 should be paid upon registration.
- Prizes will be given to the top 2 winners of each category.
- Prizes will be given during prize giving ceremony at the end of each day.
- All winners are required to be present or send a representative during the prize presentation ceremony.
- Each player will receive a tag upon registration. Players are required to wear this tag throughout the competition. Those without tags will not be allowed to enter the competition area. There will be no replacement for lost tags.
- All matches will be scheduled by the GACC committees and players have to report to the competition area at least 10 minutes before their scheduled match. If the players are not there by match time, it shall be considered forfeit.
- In case of an electronic malfunction, the game shall be restarted from the beginning, regardless of the timing.
- Any form of cheating will result in disqualification.
- Pausing during tournament is not allowed. Regardless of any circumstances.
- All decisions made by tournament officials are final.

Tekken 6
- Matches are set at 2 out of 3 rounds until the Grand Finals.
- Grand Finals are set at 3 out of 5 rounds.
- Rounds are set at 60 seconds.
- Customisation of characters and controls are prohibited. Controls shall be set to default.
- All characters are allowed.
- Stages shall be selected at random.
- Handicap settings shall be set to 150%.
- Only controllers prepared by the GACC committee are allowed.
- No Pausing during a match. If a player accidentally or intentionally pauses during a game, that player is disqualified. The only way you won’t be forced to forfeit is if a judge deems it worthy of a replay or your opponent agrees to a replay.
- Infinite health is not allowed.
- Note that this competition has limited spots. As such, interested participants are encouraged to register online as to secure a spot for themselves.
Blazblue
- Matches are set at 2 out of 3 rounds until the Grand Finals.
- Grand Finals are set at 3 out of 5 rounds.
- Rounds are set at 60 seconds.
- Customisation of characters and controls are prohibited. Controls shall be set to default.
- All characters are allowed. However, unlimited forms of the characters are not allowed.
- Stages shall be selected at random.
- Only controllers prepared by the GACC committee are allowed.
- No Pausing during a match. If a player accidentally or intentionally pauses during a game, that player is disqualified. The only way you won’t be forced to forfeit is if a judge deems it worthy of a replay or your opponent agrees to a replay.

Soul Calibur 4

Touhou 12.3 Unthinkable Natural Law
- All characters are allowed, including the unlockable characters Iku and Tenshi.
- Players are allowed to construct their deck freely. All cards are unlocked by default.
- Players are recommended to prepare a Player profile beforehand, with their preferred decklist and control configuration.
- Weather effects are disabled.
- Yuyuko's stage (aka the Snow Stage) is banned.
- All games will be played via LAN using the built-in Network option.
- All games will be played with the default control settings.
- Should you wish to change controls, you will have to set them back to default at the end of your match. Failure to do so might result in disqualification or similar action.
- Registration will be open during the event until 30 minutes before the game.
- Places for the competition are limited to 16 players only and will be based on first come, first serve basis.
- Incomplete entries will not be accepted.

- No pausing is allowed.
- Any other sign of cheating will also result in forfeit of the game.
- The organizer reserves the right to exchange the prizes to anything of equal value or more.
- Prizes are not exchangeable.

Melty Blood Act Cadenza
- Only standard characters are allowed. Hidden, unlockable or boss characters are not allowed.
- Most notably, characters such as (but not limited to) Neko-Arc Chaos and White Len are banned.
